Frequently asked questions
Does my child need acting or improv experience?
Not at all. Yes, And! Kids is not an acting class — it's a play class. Children who love theatre will have a great time, and children who have never been on a stage will feel completely at home. No preparation needed.
Is this a therapy class?
No. Yes, And! Kids is a fun, play-based enrichment class — in the same spirit as a music class or movement class. Drée uses improv games to help kids practice real life skills: listening, collaborating, and trusting themselves. It is not therapy, counseling, or clinical intervention of any kind.
What age groups do you serve?
Our current class is for children ages 5–8. Classes for toddlers (ages 3–5) are coming soon. Email us to get on the waitlist.
How big are the classes?
Classes are capped at 12 kids. We keep them intentionally small so that every child gets real attention.
What should my child wear or bring?
Comfortable clothes they can move in. That's it. No costumes, no scripts, no supplies.
Do parents/guardians stay?
Yes, parents need to stay for the full class.
How do I sign up?
Fill out the form on this page or email us directly at yesandkids@gmail.com. We'll confirm your spot and send you any details you need.
Is this a comedy class? Will there be a show at the end?
While our classes use the tools of improv, there's no comedy training and no final performance. Instead, our 'yes, and' games help kids build confidence, listen, and connect with others. The focus is on the skills they carry with them, not a show.
